Teaching and Research. At the University in my department, I handle/lead all renewable energy courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervised students working on renewable energy research topics even from other departments and have consistently achieved 100% pass rate at the final exams and conversion of the entire students from one level to another. As technical assistant to the then Vice Chairman of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, I worked with so many teams for electricity generation from renewable energy resources and its regulation, understanding energy problems facing businesses and strategies for overcoming them, exploring future trends in energy utility and promoting long-term energy efficiency strategies for society. I have experience in regulatory impact analysis which I believe would help the authority benchmark the various regulations across member states. Serving as the Head of Department of Mechanical engineering from May 2014 to 17th May, 2015. In this capacity, I provided leadership in the development of strategic directions for the department with regards to teaching and learning; curriculum development, research, staff development and training; student’s welfare and involved in the coordination of inter departmental relations within the University. Managing 31 academic and 16 non-academic staff of the department. Caused an increase in the departmental research output in first class referred academic journals’ by 50%.
