Position : Head of Finance We are looking for an Head of Finance to join our client team.
Responsibilities
- The preparation and content of the company's annual report.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders
- Manage the company’s foreign exchange position, including excesses if any.
- liaise and manage all financial institutional and other funder relationships with a view to reducing overall group cost of funds
- Responsible for group tax planning and recommendations
- Responsible for group cash flow management, planning, identification and recommendation of funding options
- Management of forex risks and maturity mismatch risks.
Required profile for job ad : Head of Finance Requirements
- Must have an MBA in Finance
- Membership of relevant professional body ( ACCA, ACA)
- At least 10 years of experience in Financial Management and board operations
- An expert in balance sheet, interest rate, liquidity risk management concepts, and capital markets.
- Must have a deep understanding of running an African multi-geography finance function
- A hands-on experience in Financial Institutions (FI) sales, capital, credit risk, fx risk and liquidity risk is a plus
- Ability to communicate complex Financial concepts
