Job Ad & Profile Description

Position : Consultant

The Consultant will facilitate and conduct orientation trainings for selected team members of the DNMP on domestic resource mobilization and PBB for malaria control interventions. The consultant will adapt the existing training materials to fit the audience and to meet the objectives of this activity. The consultant will work closely with HP+.

A total of 8 LOE days is expected and are distributed as follows: 2 days are required for pre-training preparation and review of the training materials, 4 days will be training days and 2 days post-training are required for report writing.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be October 16 (anticipated) - November 31, 2019.

Required profile for job ad : Consultant
  • Degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics or Related Field with Strong Analytical and Writing Skills Strongly preferred.
  • At least five years' experience in Kenya budgeting process.
  • At least seven years' experience in public financial management
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing PBB in Kenya Government and knowledge of Results Based Management principles
  • Previous experience in conducting PBB trainings
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions on planning and budgeting in the health sector.
  • Superior communication and presentations skills
  • Prior knowledge in the budget cycle and development of AWPs.
